About
Engineer mindset. Runner's heart. Coach's eye.
I came to coaching through engineering. Before I ever wrote a training plan, I spent years building systems—debugging, optimizing, and iterating until things worked. Running was the domain where that thinking clicked the hardest.
As a distance runner, I've raced everything from 5Ks to ultramarathons. I've dealt with overtraining, injuries, plateaus, and breakthroughs. Every one of those experiences shaped how I coach.
My approach is simple: treat training like a system. Gather data. Identify constraints. Design solutions. Test, measure, adjust. There's no magic—just disciplined, intelligent programming built around the athlete.
I don't do templates. I don't sell hype. I build custom training systems for runners who want to get better and stay healthy while doing it.
Principles
Evidence over intuition
Decisions are based on training data, physiological markers, and research—not gut feelings or tradition.
Sustainability over short-term gains
The best training plan is one you can execute consistently for years. I build for longevity, not just the next race.
Transparency
You'll always know the "why" behind every workout, every rest day, every adjustment. Understanding your training makes you a better athlete.
Athlete autonomy
My goal is to make you a smarter runner, not a dependent one. The best coaching relationship builds your own decision-making ability.
